When was the last time you gave someone else praise?
‘Told someone how great they were?
Expressed gratitude for their effort?
I have always believed in being the “black velvet” behind the stone. Let me explain.
When you go to a jewelry store, the focus is always on the diamond or that shiny stone. But without the black velvet behind the stone, that jewel would never show its true potential; the glow, the sparkle.
I have been blessed in my career and in my personal life to always have that black velvet around me – people who supported me and helped me to shine. Now, I try to do the same for others.
I believe in people and always hope for the best. We train our people to be the best and to think on their own. I hope that they feel that and feel that I always appreciate their efforts.
This is true at home, too, and in our personal lives.
We must always acknowledge those who do so much for us, the little things. That acknowledgment goes so far.
I truly believe that if you’re willing to give others the credit, you can conquer the world.
Let’s go conquer today, together!
