Is it Thanksgiving or thanks for giving?
I think people often forget what it means to actually be thankful.
This time of year, as we just finished Thanksgiving and we’re all looking to close out 2024 on a high note, I encourage you to keep in mind how important it is to be thankful.
Account for all the things we have and enjoy with gratitude every day.
But I urge you to focus not only on all of the things that have gone well or the abundance in your life, but all of the challenges and things that have not gone your way, too.
Remember that ALL things are lessons, and guide how we proceed moving forward in life.
Always keep in mind that without pain, there is no pleasure.
Without sadness there is no joy.
Without sorrow there is no excitement.
Without those challenges and bumps in the road, we don’t become stronger, better human beings.
So, as we head into the holidays and close out another year, focus on the positive.
Be thankful for all the little gifts that we have.
And always remember to smile!
