Maggie Zheng was born and raised in China. While growing up in Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province, she was trained in the contemporary martial art of Wushu, starting at the age of seven. At the age of twelve, she participated in the Shanxi Provincial Youth Wushu Tournament where she scored as high as third place in one of the competition categories.
At the age of fifteen Maggie immigrated to San Francisco, California. She proudly became a U. S. citizen in 2005. Her outstanding academic achievements led to her acceptance to UCLA. In 2004 she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in actuarial planning.
Maggie’s approach is to draw from her insight and intuition gained from her martial arts studies and apply them with acute acumen derived from her mathematical training and studies. Her collective knowledge is clearly is a strategic advantage. Known for her interpersonal skills and ability to handle complex projects, Maggie built her career as a seasoned financial analyst in industries, including health care, mortgage banking, auto financing and film entertainment. By leveraging the extensive network of business contacts she has built over a number of years and tapping into the business communities from diverse cultural backgrounds, Chinese in particular, she has become, along with her business partner Jack Chou at One Wealth Management, a pivotal force leading the firm to enter into high net-worth Chinese corporate and business owner markets.
Maggie was awarded “Life Insurance Leader” in junior associate category by her agency within her first year joining MassMutual. Her motto is: “Helping individuals, families as well as corporate clients achieve long term wealth accumulation goals through genuinely engaging with clients every step of the process.”
Maggie now resides in Culver City with her four year old son Jake.
